Recently, BYD introduced its second-generation Blade Battery and megawatt flash-charging technology, featuring a flash-charging pile with a maximum single-gun output of 1500kW. The company touts the ability to "charge to 80% in 5 minutes and achieve a full charge in 9 minutes." To put BYD’s flash-charging capabilities to the test with vehicles from third-party brands, an Li Auto i6 owner conducted the first-ever public demonstration of this charging technology.
