In recent years, the new energy vehicle (NEV) market has witnessed remarkable growth. However, users still grapple with challenges like range anxiety and the inconvenience of energy replenishment. Addressing these pain points, GAC AION has taken a multi-faceted approach, focusing on three key areas—product, technology, and network—to cater to user demands effectively. This involves popularizing long-range models within its product lineup, accelerating the iteration of fast-charging technologies, and constructing a 'fast, widespread, and accessible' energy replenishment network for charging facilities.

Simultaneously, AION is vigorously promoting battery swap services as an innovative solution. By 2025, it will introduce the AION UT super, a model that supports both 'chargeable and swappable' modes. This not only reduces the initial vehicle purchase costs but also eliminates concerns related to battery degradation over time. Presently, there are over a thousand battery swap stations spread across the country, catering specifically to AION models. This number is projected to surge to 3,000 by 2026. Looking ahead, the ambitious plan is to expand the network to 10,000 stations within the next three years, with an ultimate target of 30,000 stations by 2030.
