According to Germany's "Handelsblatt," which cited data from Inovev, Tesla's Berlin Gigafactory manufactured approximately 149,000 vehicles in 2025. Given its annual production capacity of 375,000 vehicles, this equates to a capacity utilization rate of about 40%. Nevertheless, André Thierig, the head of the factory, disputed this figure. He asserted that the actual production volume in 2025 surpassed 200,000 vehicles, with consistent quarter-on-quarter growth, and that the cumulative production has now exceeded 700,000 vehicles.
