On March 3, iCAR and Horizon co-hosted a launch event for intelligent driving technology, where they comprehensively unveiled, for the very first time, the brand-new mass-produced model, the iCAR V27. This vehicle comes equipped with Horizon's HSD full-scenario assisted driving system. Powered by Horizon's Journey 6P chip, the iCAR V27 boasts computing power of up to 560 TOPS from a single chip. It is also outfitted with 27 high-precision sensors (including LiDAR), providing 360-degree perception coverage.

The HSD system employs a genuine single-stage end-to-end architecture. It achieves a reaction speed that is 42% faster than that of humans. Moreover, it reduces undesirable behaviors such as abrupt and heavy braking by over 90%. This system supports full-scenario navigation assistance without the need for high-definition maps and also offers a navigation-free roaming mode.

The iCAR V27 is set to be launched nationwide on March 13. This launch marks the first mass-production implementation of Horizon HSD in the rugged boxy SUV segment. It also sets a new benchmark for intelligent driving in boxy SUVs. Currently, HSD has secured design wins with 10 global automakers and is featured in over 20 vehicle models. In just 8 weeks, the activation volume of intelligent driving systems for the first batch of equipped models has exceeded 25,000 units.
