On March 2, Reuters reported that Tesla has finally started to show signs of recovery, following two successive years of declining sales across the European market. Official figures indicate that, in February 2026, Tesla's market presence in France and Norway witnessed a notable surge. In France, the number of new car registrations skyrocketed by 55% compared to the same period the previous year, with the Model Y contributing to around 82% of these sales. Consequently, Tesla's share of the French pure electric vehicle market soared to 11.5%. Meanwhile, in Norway, registrations climbed by 32% year-on-year, allowing Tesla to regain its position as the top-selling brand. The Model Y accounted for a staggering 89% of these sales, with Tesla's market share in the Norwegian pure electric vehicle sector hovering around 17.0%.
