Yesterday, several automotive companies released their sales figures for February, with overall performance remaining lackluster, largely due to the impact of the Spring Festival holiday. Among the new energy vehicle (NEV) brands, Leapmotor, Li Auto, Zeekr, NIO, Xiaomi, and XPeng all disclosed their delivery volumes. However, Hongmeng Intelligent Automotive did not release specific figures. AITO reported cumulative sales of 58,000 vehicles for January and February, with nearly 18,000 units delivered in February alone. This marked a significant month-on-month decline, with AITO being surpassed by brands like Li Auto. Nevertheless, this still represents a year-on-year increase of approximately 20%.
The underwhelming sales performance of AITO in February was largely expected, as the SUVs currently available in the market are slated for an upgrade. This has led consumers to adopt a wait-and-see attitude. It is hoped that AITO can make swift strategic adjustments to better cope with the even fiercer market competition anticipated in 2026.
