On March 2, news emerged that Didi Autonomous Driving has recently launched the Shenqiong Yuanhang Laboratory and forged a deep industry-academia-research partnership with the research team headed by Professor Li Shengbo from Tsinghua University. Both entities will concentrate on pioneering technologies, including multimodal large models, world models, and reinforcement learning, to jointly propel the advancement and industrialization of multimodal end-to-end autonomous driving technologies. The lab adopts a 'physical operation + resource sharing + joint research' model, striving to forge a novel paradigm for industry-academia-research collaboration that seamlessly integrates 'research - engineering - commercialization' and expedites the application of scientific research achievements.
