Xiaomi's Chairman, Lei Jun, recently showcased the Six-Degree-of-Freedom Environmental Simulation Laboratory designed for Xiaomi's automotive endeavors. This cutting-edge facility employs a sophisticated 'road simulator' to replicate the complex vibration patterns that system components experience when subjected to rough road conditions. By leveraging a 'high-frequency multi-axis simulation test bench' and advanced load spectrum data iteration techniques, the lab accurately simulates real-world bumpy terrains. The testing environment is further enhanced by the ability to superimpose various temperature, humidity, and lighting conditions, ensuring a comprehensive assessment of component durability.

For critical components, the lab utilizes fatigue acceleration technology, enabling it to simulate the wear and tear a user would encounter after driving 300,000 kilometers in a mere two weeks. This breakthrough significantly boosts the efficiency of the development and verification processes. Earlier, during a livestream, Lei Jun disclosed that Xiaomi boasts over 100 self-constructed laboratories across Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, and Wuhan. Additionally, the company operates two extensive vehicle testing sites in Guangde, Anhui, and Yancheng, Jiangsu, staffed by a robust testing team exceeding 800 professionals.
