Pan Jiutang, the Chief of Staff at Xiaomi Group and also in charge of the group's strategic planning and other tasks, took to Moments to promote Xiaomi's vehicles. He hailed the SU7 and YU7 as the best-sellers in their respective price ranges, lauding their outstanding handling and the seamless operation of their intelligent cockpits. According to informed insiders, Xiaomi currently has vehicle inventory orders totaling around 100,000 units, with reserves that won't last more than three months. The new generation SU7's order count hasn't surpassed 100,000 units yet. Right now, the standard version of the Xiaomi YU7 has a delivery lead time of roughly four months. The new generation SU7 is now open for small-scale reservations, boasting a pre-sale price higher than its predecessor. It's slated for an official launch in April 2026, and owners of the SU7 who have already locked in their orders but haven't taken delivery yet will have a limited-time opportunity to upgrade. In reaction to the month-over-month drop in January delivery volume, Lei Jun remarked that such a comparison isn't fair. So far, Xiaomi's vehicles have racked up nearly 600,000 total deliveries, with over 39,000 units delivered in January 2026 alone. The annual delivery goal stands at 550,000 units.
