The American electric vehicle maker, Tesla, has made an official announcement that it will permanently cease the production of its iconic Model S sedan and Model X sport utility vehicle (SUV) in the second quarter of 2026. During the company's quarterly earnings conference call, CEO Elon Musk revealed that the manufacturing of these two models would come to an end in the upcoming quarter. Nevertheless, Tesla assured that it would persist in offering comprehensive lifecycle support services to current owners.
