On January 26th, news emerged that on January 23rd, 2026, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) successfully hosted a pivotal government symposium in Beijing. The event was expertly chaired by Chen Shihua, the Deputy Secretary-General of CAAM.

During the symposium, Chen Shihua delivered a comprehensive report that encapsulated the remarkable strides made by China's automobile industry since the inception of the "14th Five-Year Plan".
