On January 24, news emerged that Fujian Provincial Automobile Transport Group (commonly known as Minyun Group for its location in Fujian, where "Min" is a traditional abbreviation for Fujian) and Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL) have recently inked a strategic cooperation framework agreement in Ningde, Fujian Province. Under this agreement, the two entities will embark on profound collaboration across several key domains, including vehicle aftermarket services, the construction of an urban-level battery swap network, and vehicle-grid interaction technologies. Their joint efforts are geared towards constructing a sustainable industrial ecosystem, fostering the seamless integration of new energy technologies with urban public transportation systems, contributing to the optimization of the urban energy mix, advancing the realization of the 'dual carbon' objectives (namely, peaking carbon emissions by 2030 and achieving carbon neutrality by 2060), and spearheading the green transformation of the public transportation sector.
