BAIC BluePark has made an announcement stating that its subsidiary, Beijing New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd., is set to invest a substantial 1.991 billion yuan in the development of the Xiangjie Super Factory’s High-End Platform Model Industrialization and Digital Intelligence Enhancement Project for production lines. This ambitious initiative will involve the integration of the BE22 3.0 platform and the introduction of three new vehicle models. These advancements will be achieved through upgrades to the production lines, the implementation of digital intelligence solutions, and other strategic measures. The overarching goal is to significantly boost the flexibility, efficiency, quality, and intelligence of the manufacturing system. The project is anticipated to span a construction period of 14 months, with work scheduled to commence in March 2026.
