On January 23rd, Reuters reported that on the 22nd of the same month (local time), Tesla's CEO, Elon Musk, made a statement at the World Economic Forum held in Davos, Switzerland. He indicated that Tesla's Full Self-Driving (FSD) system, which necessitates driver supervision, could potentially gain approval in China as early as next month. Furthermore, he suggested that the approval timeline in China might closely align with that in Europe.
In response to these remarks, a representative from Tesla China clarified that they currently lack pertinent information to share on the matter. They also noted that, as of now, there have been no fresh developments to announce concerning the progress of Tesla's FSD system in the Chinese market.
