Last evening, Changan Automobile and Midea Group inked a comprehensive strategic cooperation pact at Midea's headquarters in Foshan, Guangdong Province. The collaboration aims to co-create a seamless, smart lifestyle that integrates 'People, Vehicle, and Home'. The newly launched Changan Qiyuan Q05 will be the first model to incorporate the 'Vehicle Controls Home' feature. Subsequently, this functionality will be extended to other relevant models through Over-the-Air (OTA) updates. Simultaneously, both parties are expediting the joint development of the 'Home Controls Vehicle' feature.
Additionally, Changan Automobile reported impressive sales figures for 2025. The company's annual sales volume soared to 2.913 million units, marking an 8.5% year-on-year increase and reaching a nearly nine-year high. Specifically, new energy vehicle sales surged to 1.109 million units, reflecting a remarkable 51% year-on-year growth. Moreover, overseas sales climbed to 637,000 units, representing an 18.9% year-on-year rise.
