Media reports, referencing internal Tesla documents, reveal that the workforce at Tesla's Grünheide factory—situated on the outskirts of Berlin, Germany—has seen a reduction of roughly 1,700 employees. As a result, the plant now employs 10,703 workers. Notably, this factory stands as Tesla's sole production hub in Europe. Following these developments, Tesla clarified that, for the present, it does not intend to scale back production or implement further layoffs at the Berlin facility.
