On January 20th, it was reported that the German automaker Mercedes-Benz Group had commenced production of the fully electric GLB compact SUV at its factory in Kecskemét, Hungary, in an effort to reduce production costs. The model is priced at approximately €59,000 (approximately $68,570). Currently, Mercedes-Benz has shifted the focus of GLB production from Mexico to Hungary and ceased production of the B-Class Tourer at its factory in Rastatt, Germany, at the end of last year.
