Once the new standard takes effect, automakers will be compelled to enhance the technological features of their upcoming vehicle models. To illustrate, consider a vehicle model weighing approximately 2 tons. According to the new standard, its energy consumption per 100 kilometers must not surpass 15.1 kWh.
