On November 21, 2025, at the Guangzhou Auto Show, Xiaomi Auto officially introduced the Xiaomi HAD Enhanced Version. The company also announced that this upgraded system would be gradually rolled out to users through the OTA (Over-the-Air) update of the HyperOS 1.11 series.

This significant upgrade marks the first-time application of the "reinforcement learning + world model" technology. It brings about enhancements in three core driving capabilities:

  • Smoother Longitudinal Acceleration and Deceleration: The system can now precisely predict cut-ins from adjacent vehicles. This allows for smooth deceleration, enhancing both comfort and peace of mind when following other vehicles.
  • More Decisive Lateral Lane Changes: The system accurately identifies safe opportunities for lane changes, ensuring smooth and natural maneuvers. This not only improves traffic efficiency but also boosts decision reliability.
  • More Precise Road Condition Understanding: By analyzing navigation information in advance, the system optimizes path selection at complex intersections and in various scenarios, thereby reducing the risk of detours.

In addition to these core upgrades, the new version introduces enhanced safety assistance features. These include Emergency Steering Assistance (AES) and Forward/Rearward Low-Speed Anti-Collision Assistance (L-AEB/R-AEB), offering more comprehensive anti-collision protection.

Xiaomi has stressed that despite these advancements, the assisted driving system remains a Level 2 assisted function. Drivers are reminded to maintain full control of their vehicles throughout their journeys.
