On November 26, Jia Yueting announced via a post that Faraday Future (FF) is keen on pursuing an extensive partnership with Tesla in the realm of Full Self-Driving (FSD) technology. Presently, both companies have successfully accomplished the compatibility tasks for their respective charging networks, paving the way for FF and FX models to utilize Tesla's Supercharger stations. FF is primarily focused on the ultra-intelligent luxury vehicle segment, whereas FX is tailored for the broader consumer market, with projections indicating a sales volume of 500,000 units within the next five years. FF has declared that, commencing in 2026, its upcoming vehicle models will be entirely outfitted with NACS (North American Charging Standard) ports, thereby integrating into the prevalent charging standard framework—or, as it's aptly termed here for contextual clarity, the 'ecosystem'—in North America. Subsequently, the models affected by this transition will gain access to an extensive network of over 28,000 Tesla Superchargers scattered across various locations. Initially perceived as rivals, the alignment of charging standards between FF and Tesla signifies a transformative move from competitive stance to collaborative synergy within the infrastructure ecosystem.
