On November 21, during the 23rd Guangzhou International Automobile Exhibition, Avita and Huawei co-hosted a press conference. They announced the all-encompassing and in-depth advancement of their strategic partnership, signifying a pivotal new stage in their alliance.
Since initiating their collaboration in 2019, both parties have elevated the HI model to the HI PLUS joint co-creation model. This expansion has broadened their cooperation scope, moving beyond just product and technological empowerment. It now encompasses user insights, product definition, product development, integrated marketing, team development, capital collaboration, and various other comprehensive domains.
Avita has remitted a cumulative sum of 11.5 billion yuan to Huawei, finalizing its investment to secure a 10% stake in Huawei's Yinwang Company. This move has positioned Avita as the largest external shareholder of the company. Looking ahead, Huawei's cutting-edge technologies, including the Qiankun Intelligent Driving ADS High-Speed L3 Solution and the Hongmeng Cockpit L3, enhanced by MoLA, are set to be mass-produced in Avita's vehicle lineup.
As per the outlined plan, the duo aims to jointly introduce 17 products by 2030. These will span niche segments like sedans, SUVs, and MPVs, with five upgraded models slated for a 2026 debut.
