On November 21, 2025, the 23rd Guangzhou International Automobile Exhibition kicked off. The SAIC Volkswagen Volkswagen brand brought its entire refreshed product matrix to Hall 1.1 in Area A and unveiled its new new energy product sequence—ID. ERA, marking the brand's full entry into a new era of new energy mobility. Starting from 2026, the ID. ERA sequence will gradually introduce products with three powertrain types: pure electric, hybrid, and extended-range. The first flagship 9-series SUV has entered the testing and validation phase. This vehicle is equipped with an extended-range power system and features five flagship highlights. SAIC Volkswagen also launched the ID. ERA 'Pioneer Experience Program,' recruiting users to participate in winter extreme cold testing.
