XPENG Announces It Will Cover Purchase Tax for Users of X9 Extended-Range Version Delivered Near New Year

He Xiaopeng, the Chairman and CEO of XPENG Motors, made an announcement stating that the X9 super extended-range model garnered a record-breaking number of orders within just one hour of its official launch. Notably, for the first time, orders from northern China constituted over 50% of the total. Moreover, the 1602 Ultra version accounted for a substantial 79% of all orders. XPENG also mentioned that the starting price for the X9 super extended-range model is set at RMB 309,800. Additionally, the company has rolled out a 'New Year Purchase Tax Subsidy' initiative. Under this program, customers who place their orders before December 31, 2025 (inclusive) will be eligible for a purchase tax reduction subsidy of up to RMB 15,000.
