On November 18, SAIC-GM-Wuling, in partnership with CCTV News, organized the 2nd Tribute to Strivers Conference in Liuzhou, Guangxi. At this significant event, the commercial vehicle's 'Tian, Ling, Shen' technological system was officially unveiled, and the fully electrified Wuling Red Label product family was put on display. By 2025, the Wuling Red Label is poised to fully embrace the new energy era, with its 'Yanghong Rongguang' family undergoing a comprehensive new energy transformation.
Several new models, such as the Wuling Yangguang, made their first appearance at the conference. The newly introduced Wuling Rongguang EV is slated to launch two variants in 2026, providing customers with a diverse array of 'one model with three power options'. To date, the cumulative sales of Wuling Red Label have surpassed 21 million units, and it has secured the title of the national commercial vehicle cumulative sales champion from January to October this year.
During the conference, SAIC-GM-Wuling also teamed up with the China Red Cross Foundation to launch the Wuling 'Strivers Special Program', with an initial investment of 15 million yuan. Moreover, the all-new Wuling Rongguang has been included on the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's list of new product announcements, offering both electric and fuel-powered versions with the option of five-seat or seven-seat configurations. The two models vary in terms of size, appearance, and powertrain.
