Recently, Xiaomi Auto Technology Co., Ltd. has unveiled its patent for a 'lightweight design method, device, electronic equipment, and program product for vehicle structures.' This patent pertains to the field of vehicle technology, with the specific method involving: first, acquiring a finite element model of vehicle components to establish macroscopic mechanical characterization, while also incorporating the beam element crystal structure of the components to reflect microscopic crystal arrangement characteristics, thereby constructing a topological model of the components. Subsequently, topological analysis is performed on this model to obtain analytical results. Finally, by integrating microscopic crystal arrangement characteristics with macroscopic mechanical characterization, lightweight design is carried out on the topological analysis results, ranging from microscopic lattice arrangements to macroscopic structural forms, achieving the goal of lightweight vehicle structures.
