On November 14, 2025, Guangzhou PCI Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of PCI Tech Group, Siemens Transportation Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd., and Gongkong International Holdings (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd. came together to officially ink a cooperation agreement in the Guangzhou Development District and Huangpu District. Their aim is to jointly establish a joint venture focused on rail transit signaling systems, with its headquarters set to be located in Huangpu.

This newly formed joint venture is set to play a pivotal role in driving the localization of Siemens' signaling technology. It will achieve this through two key avenues: the construction of new rail lines and the renovation of existing ones. The three collaborating parties will pool their resources and expertise to steer the joint venture's development in several strategic directions. These include the creation of smart rail transit demonstration projects, which will showcase cutting-edge technologies and innovative solutions. Additionally, they will work hand in hand to propel the growth of Guangzhou's rail transit industry, strengthening its position as a hub for rail innovation. Moreover, the partnership aims to facilitate the international expansion of 'Guangzhou Rail' technologies, products, and standards, enabling them to make a mark on the global stage.
