Recently, the group standard titled "Methods for Security Assessment of Automotive Data Exit" (T/CIQA131—2025), which was meticulously drafted by the Comprehensive Quality Service Standardization Technical Committee of the China Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Association, has been officially approved, released, and put into implementation.
Under the leadership of the China Automotive Research Institute (CARI), this standard was collaboratively formulated by 25 prominent industry enterprises and institutions, including well-known names such as Seres Group and BYD Auto. This standard effectively fills a crucial gap in specific operational standards for the security assessments of automotive data exit. Moreover, it provides enterprises with clear and actionable guidance on adhering to regulations as they expand their global footprint.
