Xiaomi Auto has officially declared that the 20-in-1 integrated die-cast aluminum triangular beam, featured in its YU7 model, has clinched the Best Structure Award at the 2025 International Die-Casting Competition. This accolade represents the pinnacle of achievement in the competition. Serving as a crucial conduit for transmitting collision forces throughout the vehicle, this triangular beam significantly boosts the vehicle's energy absorption capabilities, thereby mitigating the energy impact on the passenger cabin.

Employing a cross-system integrated design approach, it optimizes the front cabin layout, resulting in a spacious 141L front trunk for the YU7. When combined with other design elements, such as the integrated die-cast rear floor and CTB (Cell-to-Body) technology, the YU7's body torsional stiffness soars to an impressive 47,610 N·m/deg, setting a new benchmark in its category.

This innovative triangular beam consolidates 20 individual parts into a single die-cast component, enhancing overall rigidity and ensuring consistent production quality. Leveraging its proprietary formulations and AI models, Xiaomi has successfully achieved high-efficiency, high-precision mass production of this component at its Yizhuang Super Factory, marking a significant milestone in automotive manufacturing.
