Data from the China Automotive Power Battery Industry Innovation Alliance reveals that in October, the installed capacity of domestic power batteries soared to 84.1 GWh. This represents a notable 10.7% increase from the previous month and a significant 42.1% jump compared to the same period last year. Specifically, the installed capacity of ternary batteries stood at 16.5 GWh, making up 19.7% of the total installed capacity. It witnessed a 19.8% month-on-month surge and a 35.8% year-on-year hike. Meanwhile, the installed capacity of lithium iron phosphate batteries reached 67.5 GWh, accounting for a dominant 80.3% of the total. This category experienced an 8.6% month-on-month rise and a 43.7% year-on-year escalation.
