CAAM: New Energy Passenger Vehicle Sales in First 10 Months Primarily Clustered in RMB 100,000 - 200,000 Price Bracket

On November 11, data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers revealed that from January to October this year, traditional fuel-powered passenger vehicle sales were predominantly concentrated within the RMB 100,000 - 150,000 price range. During this period, a cumulative total of 3.698 million units were sold, marking an 8.6% year-on-year decline.
In the same timeframe, for new energy passenger vehicles, except for a year-on-year drop in sales within the RMB 300,000 - 400,000 price range, all other price segments witnessed positive growth. Notably, the RMB 100,000 - 200,000 price range emerged as the most popular, with cumulative sales reaching 5.446 million units, representing a 29.4% year-on-year increase.
