Tesla is currently in the midst of a persistent exodus of executives, with prominent leaders sequentially stepping down from the Cybertruck, Model 3, and Model Y projects. Based on LinkedIn data, Siddhant Awasthi, who held the position of project leader for the Cybertruck for a three - year period, has bid farewell to the company. Awasthi first joined Tesla as an intern back in 2017 and dedicated over eight years to the firm. This year, in July, he also took on the mantle of the Model 3 project leader. Prior to this, a number of key executives, such as David Lau, the Vice President of Software Engineering, and Song Gang, the Vice President of Manufacturing, have already left the company. At present, Tesla is grappling with sales fluctuations and an uncertain future, and this wave of executive departures undoubtedly compounds the difficulties the company is facing.
