Last Friday, the all-new SHINE S9 officially rolled out its pre-sale campaign, introducing four distinct models that come with two powertrain alternatives: extended-range and pure electric. The starting price is set at 318,000 yuan. In a mere 72 hours following its launch, the count of reservations made with a small deposit has soared past 8,000 units. The latest iteration of the vehicle showcases a revamped exterior, complete with a brand-new emblem and headlights. Step inside, and you'll find it adopts the S9T design philosophy, boasting an array of screens. The cabin is lavishly adorned with Nappa leather and imported solid wood trim throughout, and every variant comes standard with an in-car refrigerator. The SHINE S9 is strategically positioned as a mid-to-large sedan, flaunting an impressively low drag coefficient of just 0.193. It has been upgraded to Huawei's cutting-edge TULING platform and is equipped with a standard front double-wishbone and rear multi-link suspension setup. When it comes to intelligent assisted driving, the new vehicle is outfitted with four LiDAR sensors and Huawei's state-of-the-art QIAN KUN Intelligent Driving ADS 4 system. As for powertrains, the pure electric version is constructed on an 800V high-voltage platform, whereas the extended-range version incorporates Huawei's XUE XIAO intelligent extended-range system, ensuring exceptional range performance.
