Recently, sources familiar with Xiaomi Auto have revealed that certain Xiaomi Auto dealerships are set to initiate end-to-end assisted driving demo events this weekend. This innovative feature promises a driving experience where manual intervention is unnecessary throughout the entire trip—a capability previously out of reach for users. The demo will encompass two models: the Xiaomi SU7 and YU7. Notably, the YU7 will showcase superior assisted driving computational prowess. The high-end variant of the Xiaomi SU7 matches the YU7 in computational power, whereas the low-end version boasts a computational capacity of 84 TOPS (Tera Operations Per Second), leading to diverse functional experiences across different configurations. On July 29 of this year, Xiaomi already rolled out the end-to-end assisted driving system, integrated with the 10 million Clips version, to select SU7 series models. The newly enhanced assisted driving system has demonstrated marked improvements in highway driving scenarios. Specifically, the highway pilot assist function has become more reliable, offering a smoother and more comfortable driving experience. Xiaomi Auto has reiterated that assisted driving is distinct from autonomous driving, urging users to employ it correctly and maintain vigilance regarding road conditions.
