On November 7, the NIO Legal Department released an official notice revealing that three social media accounts—'Xigua Li Duonan', 'Roadside Information Agency', and 'Senge Electric Car'—have been officially banned. Notably, in a first-instance court ruling, it was determined that He Kui, the operator of the 'Xigua Li Duonan' account, had violated legal rights. Consequently, the court mandated that He Kui issue a public apology to NIO and provide compensation for the economic losses incurred. In response to this development, NIO reiterated its commitment to heeding the directives from six key government departments. The company vowed to actively support efforts aimed at curbing the spread of malicious rumors and false information, thereby protecting the lawful rights and interests of both the enterprise and its user base.
