This strategic move officially inaugurates a dual-power mode, integrating both pure electric and range-extended capabilities into a single vehicle, thereby heralding a new era of dual-functionality in automotive design. The strategy is underpinned by the utilization of a substantial 5C lithium iron phosphate battery, complemented by a large fuel tank. This configuration enables the vehicle to operate seamlessly as a pure electric car, effectively tackling the five primary challenges that currently plague range-extended vehicles. Furthermore, the pre-sale performance of the XPENG X9 Super Range-Extended Edition has dramatically surpassed initial expectations, offering a driving experience that closely mirrors that of an electric vehicle. To date, the vehicle has successfully completed approximately 20 million kilometers of comprehensive road testing on a global scale.
