During Tesla's annual shareholder meeting, Musk made an exciting announcement: the Tesla Roadster 2 sports car is set to make its official debut on April 1, 2025. Production is slated to commence within 12 to 18 months following this launch. Initially showcased back in 2017, the Roadster 2 was originally planned to enter production in 2020. However, its launch has faced annual delays. The Roadster 2 boasts a cutting-edge drive motor capable of generating an impressive wheel torque of up to 10,000 N·m. Featuring an all-wheel-drive system, this sports car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in a mere 2.1 seconds, reaches 160 km/h from a standstill in just 4.2 seconds, and can achieve a top speed of up to 400 km/h. Moreover, it is outfitted with a 200 kWh battery, providing a remarkable driving range of up to 1,000 km on a single charge.
