On November 5, Pony.ai made an official announcement regarding the launch of its seventh-generation RoboTaxi. This new fleet comprises two models: the ARCFOX Alpha T5 and the Aion Tyrannosaurus rex (affectionately dubbed "Bawanglong," translating to "Overlord Dragon" in English). These models are poised to roll out in major cities including Guangzhou and Shenzhen. Built entirely with automotive-grade components, they are engineered for a robust lifespan of up to 600,000 kilometers. Moreover, they have managed to slash the total cost of their autonomous driving systems by a significant 70% compared to their predecessors.
