On November 3, Renault Group and Geely Auto Group inked a conclusive agreement, marking Geely's official acquisition of a 26.4% equity stake in Renault's Brazilian division. Renault will maintain its status as the controlling shareholder and will keep including Renault Brazil in its consolidated financial statements. As a minority stakeholder, Geely is now entitled to tap into the industrial and commercial assets of Renault Brazil. Moreover, the Geely EX5 electric SUV is set to make its debut in the Brazilian market, leveraging Renault's established dealer network for distribution.
