XPENG Motors has declared that it will stage the XPENG X9 Kunpeng Super Range-Extending Technology Launch Event at 7:00 PM (19:00) on November 6. Serving as the brand's inaugural model featuring super range-extending technology, the XPENG X9 will mark the initial application of the "Kunpeng" super range-extending technology. This innovative technology harnesses the synergy of a "63.3-kWh ultra-fast-charging lithium iron phosphate large battery paired with a 60L large fuel tank," empowering the vehicle to attain a combined driving range of up to 1,602 kilometers.

The XPENG X9 is strategically positioned as a seven-seat MPV (Multi-Purpose Vehicle), boasting body dimensions of 5,316mm in length, 1,988mm in width, and 1,785mm in height, complemented by a wheelbase of 3,160mm. Its curb weight stands at 2,750 kilograms. The vehicle is outfitted with a Dongan 1.5T engine serving as the range extender, in conjunction with a CALB lithium iron phosphate battery pack. Additionally, it incorporates a full-domain 800V high-voltage platform, 5C ultra-fast charging technology, and a large-capacity battery, providing a pure electric driving range surpassing 450 kilometers and a combined driving range exceeding 1,600 kilometers.
