On November 1, Geely Auto disclosed that its sales in October soared to 307,133 units, marking a new monthly sales record. The automaker has consistently demonstrated robust growth, achieving double-digit increases both year-on-year and month-on-month for eight consecutive months. Specifically, sales climbed 12% month-on-month and surged 35% year-on-year. Within this impressive performance, new energy vehicle (NEV) sales hit a record high of 177,882 units, representing a 64% year-on-year increase and an 8% month-on-month rise. The NEV penetration rate reached an impressive 58%. Furthermore, Geely Galaxy accomplished its annual sales target of one million vehicles ahead of schedule, setting a record as the fastest new energy vehicle brand to achieve this milestone.
