Pony.ai, in collaboration with Shenzhen Xihu Group, has initiated the first batch of innovative application pilots in Shenzhen featuring its seventh-generation L4 autonomous vehicles, also known as Robotaxis. This launch represents a pivotal achievement in the joint strategy of both entities to roll out autonomous vehicles on a large scale, serving as a showcase for the modernization and enhancement of Shenzhen's transportation services sector. As Shenzhen's inaugural intelligent connected vehicle innovative application pilot initiative, the two partners are set to conduct trials across various scenarios throughout the city, adhering to specified requirements. Presently, Pony.ai's operational footprint spans key districts such as Nanshan, Bao'an, and Qianhai, with plans for further expansion on the horizon.
