On the evening of October 30, Li Xuan, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of WeRide, posted a detailed article in an analyst group, directly accusing Pony.ai of presenting false data against WeRide in its materials for the Hong Kong Stock Exchange roadshow. Li Xuan refuted these allegations on four fronts:

First, regarding operational areas, WeRide has already launched fully driverless Robotaxi services in Beijing and Guangzhou, directly countering Pony.ai's claim that WeRide only operates in "one region in Beijing."

Second, in terms of operational data, WeRide boasts a fleet of over 700 robotaxis and has accumulated more than 2,200 days of operational records, effectively refuting the accusation of having "0 completed rides."

Third, concerning technological prowess, WeRide’s "one-stage end-to-end" mass production application has received endorsement from both Bosch and Chery, casting doubt on Pony.ai's related assertions.

Fourth, regarding global expansion, WeRide operates in 30 cities across 11 countries and has secured licenses in 7 of these countries.

Li Xuan underscored that Pony.ai's actions go beyond the bounds of normal competition and urged the company to promptly correct the false information. WeRide, for its part, reserves the right to take legal action if necessary.
