On October 8, according to the EU-China Business Council, its Automotive Working Group (CCCEUAWG) successfully held its second working meeting on the morning of October 6. Member units including NIO, Changan, XPeng, Xiaomi, Great Wall Motors, Gotion High-Tech, HRC, and CATARC participated in the meeting online. During the meeting, members conducted in-depth discussions on the latest developments regarding EU electric vehicle tariffs, new policies on export permits for China's pure electric passenger vehicles, the establishment of the European Connected and Automated Vehicles Alliance (ECAVA), as well as other recent EU policy updates. The meeting also addressed the priorities for the Automotive Working Group in the fourth quarter to ensure the smooth progress and effective implementation of various tasks by the end of the year.
