Over the holiday season, the charging volume of new energy vehicles soared to a record peak for the corresponding historical timeframe, thanks to a range of region-specific measures implemented to meet charging demands. From October 1st to 3rd, up until 6:00 PM, the charging volume along national highways surged to 43,809,300 kilowatt-hours, marking a 51.33% year-on-year increase. The daily average charging volume during this period was 2.54 times that of a regular day.

Across various regions, the construction of charging stations has been expedited. For instance, during the holiday, four liquid-cooled supercharging stations were commissioned at the scenic route stretching from Weihai, Shandong, to Haigangwan. These stations enable vehicles equipped with supercharging modules to achieve a full charge in just 10 minutes. By the end of August, the total number of electric vehicle charging infrastructure facilities in China had surpassed 17 million, reflecting a year-on-year increase exceeding 50%. This growth underscores the increasingly comprehensive nature of the charging network.
