In 2025, the competitive situation in the global pure electric vehicle market experiences a sea change, with BYD's pure electric vehicle models completely outperforming Tesla's in terms of sales. By the third quarter of 2025, BYD had racked up cumulative pure electric vehicle sales of 1.6059 million units.
