On the afternoon of September 27, the principal forum of the 2025 World New Energy Vehicle Congress took place in Haikou. Feng Xingya, Chairman and CEO of GAC Group, disclosed that from January to August 2025, GAC’s overseas retail sales witnessed a 43% year-on-year surge, signifying that the company's internationalization drive has entered a new phase dubbed "One GAC 2.0". At present, GAC's international operations span more than 80 countries and regions, with five overseas production facilities, thereby establishing a relatively comprehensive global sales and service network. Feng Xingya emphasized that over the upcoming five years, GAC Group will ramp up its investments across various countries, expedite the development of charging infrastructure in Thailand, collaborate with Brazil's National Institute of Metrology, Quality, and Technology (Inmetro) to contribute to the formulation of automotive standards, and forge partnerships with local universities to cultivate indigenous talent in the field of new energy vehicles.
