At the principal forum of the 2025 World New Energy Vehicle Congress, Wang Xiaoqiu, the Chairman of SAIC Motor, made a forecast stating that by 2030, the penetration rate of new energy vehicles in China is expected to climb to 70%. Despite a substantial contraction in the market for fuel-powered vehicles, they are projected to retain a specific market presence. The domestic market will witness a '433' distribution pattern among the three technological pathways: hybrid, pure electric, and fuel-powered vehicles. Furthermore, propelled by demonstration projects, fuel cell vehicles have successfully navigated through crucial phases, transitioning from large-scale technology validation and industrial chain establishment to multi-scenario demonstrations.
