At the 2025 annual address, Lei Jun unveiled that Xiaomi Automobile is introducing a customization service, which will undergo a one-year trial run. This service permits up to 40 vehicles to be customized each month, with the stipulation that orders must be confirmed in person. At present, the service caters to two models: the YU7 Max and the SU7 Ultra. The ordering procedure is outlined below: First, download and launch the Xiaomi Automobile APP. Then, click on 'Customization Service' and pick an option that entails custom configurations with a total exceeding 100,000 yuan. Proceed to pay an 80,000-yuan deposit before 22:00 and take advantage of a 90-day hesitation period. Subsequently, customers will be invited to a service center to finalize the configurations and complete the in-person order confirmation process. Initially, the service presents 5 custom car paint choices, with an ambition to develop 100 colors within the next three years. The YU7 Max boasts two exclusive interior color schemes, in addition to custom stitching and other meticulous craftsmanship details. Moreover, it features a new 21-inch five-spoke double-layer forged wheel, brake calipers available in three colors, and two 24K gold ceramic emblems.
