On September 25, BYD officially rolled out its second-generation Qin PLUS in the evening of the same day. This latest offering comes in two variants: the DM-i plug-in hybrid model and the EV pure electric model. Both are tailored as compact family sedans in the new energy vehicle (NEV) segment. Notably, the second-generation Qin PLUS DM-i 55km Leading Edition is currently available with a time-limited discount of 10,000 yuan, reducing its starting price to just 69,800 yuan. Similarly, the EV versions with ranges of 420km and 510km also enjoy a 10,000 yuan price reduction during this limited period. These newly launched vehicles have already reached dealerships across the country and are now open for pre-orders.
