On September 25th, reports emerged indicating that ZTE revealed on an interactive platform its active pursuit of research into in-vehicle optical communication solutions. The company is collaborating closely with industry partners to expedite their commercialization.

In the realm of standard-setting, ZTE has actively engaged in the pertinent tasks of the In-Vehicle Optical Communication Working Group, which operates under the System Architecture Branch of the Society of Automotive Engineers of China. Additionally, it has contributed to the work of the In-Vehicle Communication Working Group within the National Technical Committee of Auto Standardization.

As for product development, ZTE has already advanced into the research and development phase of in-vehicle optical communication products. This encompasses a wide array of components, including automotive-grade optical communication chips, local-end modules, and terminal communication modules, to name a few.
